In my personal and professional experience, I found that in therapy, one's inner experience can be witnessed with clarity, honesty, and compassion, and that in itself is the first step towards healing.
Most of us will encounter difficult situations and painful feelings at some stage of our lives. Sometimes, we may struggle to make sense of it all and feel uncertain about how to proceed. Those situations may be overwhelming for us. Perhaps the support we have around us may not feel sufficient, and being offered a different perspective or point of view can be beneficial for our well-being and desire to move forward in life.
Professional counselling/therapy may offer a much-needed fresh perspective, helping you to explore underlying issues that interfere with what you think, feel, and do.
Counselling can support you with, but is not limited to: depression, anxiety, stress, relationship and family issues (past and present), family enstrangement, pain, chronic pain, chronic illness, disability, sexuality, grief, bereavement, IVF treatment, motherhood, fatherhood, self-esteem, self-harm, belonging, identity, life transitions, self-development.
I offer a calm, non-judgmental space. I don't expect you to talk about anything you don't want to; we can look into and agree on what the focus of our work will be.
