I am a fully qualified integrative psychotherapist and supervisor-accredited registered member of the UKCP and a registered BACP member. I hold an MA in integrative counselling and psychotherapy, I trained at the Minster Centre, London, (Middlesex University).
In 2018 I trained to become a (Level 1&2) EMDR practitioner.
I am a registered member of the BACP and I adhere to their codes of ethics and a UKCP accredited member.
During my training to become a counsellor and psychotherapist, I worked for a big youth charity based in South London as a key worker and project manager.
I then began working as a counsellor at a service for survivors of domestic abuse, to then working as an honorary psychotherapist at South London and Maudsley based at University London Lewisham.
I wrote my final MA dissertation on the dynamics of working within the caring sector when being affected by a physical disability.
I have a particular interest in disability studies and how we relate to disability, chronic illness, and their social model.
